Geography 12
Geography 12 is a multidisciplinary subject which attempts to address both the physical and human-created systems of the world through the study of people, places, and environments. As there is an ever-increasing demand being placed on the world’s resources, there is a growing need for an environmentally conscious society that is able to make informed decisions about the sustainability of resources and the future of the planet. In this course, we will explore the interconnections between human activities and the earth’s physical systems.
Throughout the course, we will be introduced to concepts that pertain to human geography. Human geography is deeply involved in the studies of demography, cities, urban planning, economics, politics, etc. - it is more of how societies and people interact and what roles Geography plays in that interaction.
